...Snow, Slippery Travel Continues Early This Morning... .Light to moderate snow continues across most of the area early this morning. The snow will begin to taper off from west to east before daybreak, eventually coming to an end by mid-morning. Until then, up to another 1 to 2 inches of accumulation is possible. Brief patchy freezing drizzle is also possible mainly across portions of northeast Iowa and far southwest Wisconsin as snow comes to an end, but no icing is expected. Area webcams show most roads are partially to completely snow covered early this morning. If you must travel, plan for slippery roads.
